Audaciously...I'm thinking, "YES!"

I’m so tired… 10 weeks in

tiredIt was a busy work week for me. I was facilitating something and sometimes multiple things every day this week. Add in 3 swim sessions (which tire me out) and other workouts and I was completely bushed by Friday and WAY tired (can you say 3 hour nap??!) by Saturday. I was also mentally tired at the beginning of the week. Couldn’t seem to get started and going with the workouts.

Oh, and it was a bad week for cycling. Didn’t do any!

Sunday – Swim session. 36 minutes, all bilateral. Feeling good about that. Hope I can keep it up for the other 2 swim sessions this week. = half hour

Monday – off. Wasn’t supposed to be off. I had planned to run in the morning, but skipped that. Had planned to do a cycling class at 5:30pm, yet didn’t get myself up and out of the house in the rain. I just wanted to stay home and have a full night with the family. Struggling mentally.

Tuesday – Ran 5 miles in the morning. The run felt great! Swim session. Again finished the workout in 36 minutes and kept it all bilateral! Pretty jazzed about that! = 1.5 hours

Wednesday – In the evening did Project Bootcamp at the gym. = 1 hour

Thursday – Swim session, finished in 37 minutes, all bilateral. Then did strength on my own. = 1.25 hours

Friday – Off. Full day of facilitation, after many other full work days. I was feeling quite bushed by evening. The somehow I got a second wind and worked into the evening.

Saturday – Girls on the Run 5k. My daughter completed her first 5k in some terrible weather!: Rainy, then snowy, blowing winds and puddles all over the place to avoid. I was so proud of McKenzie. She finished it up with no complaints! Her mom was then super tired and took a really long afternoon nap. = 40 minutes

TOTAL = 5 hours, not my best week

  • Swim = 1.5 hours
  • Bike = 0
  • Run = 1 hour, 40 minutes
  • Strength = 2 hours
